Who We Are
Thanks for visiting us on the web.
We are Dyson Plumbing Services and we are lifelong residents of the beautiful South Carolina Lowcountry. We don’t just work here, we live here and we value what our neighbors think of us. We are family owned and operated in Hanahan, SC. We have been located in Hanahan since our beginning. Our family and staff have been serving the Charleston Lowcountry area for over 40 years and we hope you will consider calling us the next time you have a plumbing, backflow, water heating, gas, sewer or drain cleaning need.
I’m Steven Dyson and I’m a lifelong Lowcountry resident of Hanahan, SC. I graduated from the Citadel in 1995 and then served in the Army and Army National Guard as an infantry officer. I decided to become a plumber because I didn’t want to sit in an office. I love to get dirty, I love to be outside, I love helping my neighbors and I love doing something different every day. I hope you’ll consider calling us the next time you have a plumbing problem – when you call I’ll be the guy answering the phone.
We service Hanahan, Charleston, N. Charleston, Goose Creek, Ladson, Mt. Pleasant, Daniel Island, Summerville, West Ashley and James Island.
What We Do
We are a small team of professional and skilled plumbing experts. We don’t mind getting dirty to help solve your plumbing problems. We offer a wide range of services and we are always happy to help you with any household or business plumbing related needs:
Our Founder, Wade Dyson, was born a poor farm boy near Camden, SC. His family moved to the Charleston area during WW2 and upon graduating from N. Charleston High School joined the Army. Wade was very proud of his military service and was proud to call himself a Veteran. He moved to Hanahan in 1963 and opened his first business. Wade’s strong committment to customer service made him succesful in everything he did. We strive to continue providing the same strong customer service that Wade started. Our office has been located in Hanahan since our beginning.
While he was a succesful businessman his greatest joy was his family and making the lives of those around him better. He understood the true definition of the word “selfless”. He will be truly missed but his positive influences will continue to live on in those who were fortunate enough to know him and to learn from him. He will forever be known to many of us as the greatest father, greatest friend, greatest mentor, best boss ever and above all a true gentleman.
